We use technologies like cookies (small files stored on your browser), web beacons, or unique device identifiers to identify your computer or device so we can deliver a better experience. Our systems also log information like your browser, operating system and IP address.
When you download our App(s), we automatically collect information such as information on the type of device, name and version of the operating system, name and version of the application, user type, the numerical mobile device user ID, as well as actions performed by the user in accessing the App(s). However, we do not ask you for, access or track any geographic-location-based information from your mobile device (i.e., any information regarding where your mobile device is located on the globe at a particular time) at any time while downloading or using our Apps. For clarity, this does not prevent us from knowing what school or other organization you are affiliated with.
We also may collect personally identifiable information that you provide to us, such as your name, address, phone number or email address. Such information will be used to provide you with products and/or Services you have requested. With your permission, we may also access other personal information on your device, such as your camera roll or other photos and/or videos, phone book, calendar or messages, in order to provide services to you. If authorized by you, we may also access profile and other information from services like Facebook.
Our systems may associate this personal information with your activities in the course of providing service to you (such as pages you view or things you click on or search for).
In order for you to use our App(s), a school or other organization that you are/were part of, needs to have authorized us to provide you with access to the App(s). This naturally means that we will have information that you are a part of that school or organization. Other information, such as your grade, name of your teacher, clubs that you are a part of, and so on, may also be provided to us by the school or other organization. We may additionally obtain information from you, such as the clubs you are a part of, your interests, and so on.
We do not collect registration information from you. Rather, we provide you with a unique id associated with your school or organization, as well as a unique id associated with you, and you will use these ids in conjunction to create your account.
